I've been working off Care. com since May of 2012 when I chose to trade the job I was at for my passion of children. I don't enjoy the typical work place environment; nothing makes me smile more than when you teach a child something and the light bulb explodes because they understand and have learned something new.

I graduated high school with a passport in child education where I took family development, child development, and a ready, set, teach class. During that time, I had a kindergarten class, pre-k class, and 6-8 grade reading class I helped out in. Since high school, I've taken First Aid training, CPR, and a class about child abuse. As of now I'm working in my church nursery (Tuesday mornings) and providing childcare for different families (Tuesday and Thursday, some Saturday and Sunday) along with that starting April, I'll be working part/full time at a water park. I have experience caring for children with special needs ages 6 weeks old to 13 years old. In 2010, I worked at a small business caring for their son for the first 16 months of his life. I have recent experience in newborns-12 years old.
