I am currently a full time student of Psychology attending the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a minor in creative writing, and have been an active care provider for many years. I am open to either a part-time position or a position with full time hours where I can work around the days I am in classes.

I enjoy sitting because interacting with children is, very simply put, fun. It is always interesting to watch them learn and grow and I feel like it prevents me from getting wrapped up in the things about life that don't matter. I also know that it is important for children to have stable and enjoyable caregivers who will look after their best interests when their parents are not around. I am a very adaptable and enthusiastic person. I do my best to keep with the principles set for the children by their parents, and improvise with my best judgment given those guidelines when needed. I try never to force activities on kids, more learn what they enjoy doing and continue in that direction. I grew up looking after my younger sibling and started sitting for other families in middle school. Since then, I have held down professional sitter and nanny positions with several families, mostly with infants and toddlers, but with older children as well. I have held part time as well as full time jobs, and when in between permanent sitter positions I have taken many one night emergency cases.
