I do not have any professional experience working with kids. I've always wanted to work with kids, because I grew up with kids and have helped take care of other families' children along with my nieces and nephews, two of which are now 10 years old. I have also worked for the past two summers at a girl scout camp on the cape in Massachusetts. This year, I have worked as a counselor and a kitchen staff member. Also, I used to help teach dance classes with my sister at a dance school I used to go to. Normally it was the smaller girls, because I was in the older classes and with the teachers most times. I have a high school diploma and completed a four year program in the Culinary Arts department at my high school. I have grown up with a little brother who has Aspergers. It is something like autism. Since I grew up learning how to deal with it, it would probably give me an advantage from working with a child with a disability that way.
