I began babysitting seven years ago and during that time, I have provided care for newborns, preteens, and all ages in between. In high school, I regularly babysat two girls below age 3. We enjoyed playing outside and taking walks in the stroller. I also had the responsibility of driving their preteen brothers to activities, light house cleaning, and cooking for the girls. While volunteering at a refugee resettlement agency during college, I worked at the day care. This involved caring for multiple children of different nationalities while their parents took English classes. We played with toys, did arts and crafts, and read together. These experiences have taught me patience, creativity, and the joy of working with children. I currently work as a school portrait photographer, where I interact with children on a daily basis. Additionally, I am a substitute with the San Diego Unified School District primarily working at childhood development centers.
