Hello, I'm Mandy. I am 27 years old and have over 10 years experience between babysitting and daycare settings, and have experience with raising my own child. I have a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in youth development. I have my CPR, communicable disease, child abuse, and First Aid certifications as well. My child care experience ranges from birth to 12 years old and up to the state levels of a group. These state ratios per one person are 5 infants, 7-8 toddlers (age pending), 12 preschoolers age 3, 14 preschool/pre-kindergaden age 4-5 and 18 school agers.

I feel that educating a child is not only working on letters, numbers, and writing but also thru play, music, dance and fun learning trips to places like the park, the zoo, and museum. For infants, they learn best thru social play and interaction with adults. Talking with infants and playing with different color toys and reading books are a great way to help boost their mind.

Each child has their own learning ways and I feel that working in the daycare's has helped me be creative to reach each individual child with their own styles. The learning process starts from day 1 of a child's life and it's a great experience to be able to help a child develop all the things they need in their lives.
