of Experience
I started baby-sitting at a young age. At my youngest age of work, I wasn't completely alone. My mother cleaned houses. She cleaned for a woman who was almost blind and had two young children, one 6-month-old and one toddler. As my mother would clean, I would watch the children while their mother took a break and took care of any work she needed done. I am experienced with feeding and diaper changing. I also baby-sat two sets of brothers and sisters (one brother, one sister per household). Their ages ranged from 5 to 9 years old. I've worked at a children's fun center and currently work as a lifeguard at the Kempsville Rec Center. My most recent baby-sitting job only lasted a month, but I cared for an 8-year-old boy with autism. Before that I cared for a little 4-year-old girl who was blind in one eye and borderline autistic, and her baby brother who was 12 months old. I love surrounding myself around children. Their laughs and smiles can brighten up anyone's day and their safety is the most important thing to me.
