I love working with children of all ages. Over the years, I've worked as a camp counselor, a Sunday school teacher at my church, I've babysat kids of all ages, I've volunteered at elementary schools, and the list goes on. One day, I'd love to become a kindergarten teacher in inner-city schools. I feel like God has led me to work with children for the rest of my life. No matter where I go, children attract to me like magnets. I have a way of keeping the children I work with in line as well as have fun with them. I may be young (19 years old), but I've had more experience working with children then most full-grown adults. My aunt moved in with me 4 years ago and had a baby girl. For the first 4 years of her daughters life, they lived with us. I helped care for her everyday and every night as well as balancing school, a job, and church in my life. I have a babysat numerous kids in the neighborhood ages newborn-14. I want to work as a nanny because I love children, and right now I am not at a point in my life where I want kids of my own, but I would love to be a blessing to another family and help them care for their children. I believe that being a live-in nanny gives me more time to become close with the children, and know them on a more personal level. I like things to be organized, and tidy. I think living with the children will help them get to know me more as well as keeping a schedule that the kids can get used to.
