My name is Alyssa, I am 18 years old and a freshman at Christopher Newport University where I am completing my B. S. in Computer Information Systems. I am an occasional sitter with over six years of experience. I started babysitting when I was in eighth grade for my neighbors they had two kids ages five and eight at the time. It started off as a summer job but then it turned into a regular position until the eldest turned 14, at which time he was old enough to stay home alone. She then referred me to many of her clients, co-workers, and friends because her kids adored having me. I have watched kids from the ages of six months to 14 years old. I enjoy constructing arts and crafts and reading stories with children. I truly enjoy babysitting kids of all ages, learning though play is always my motto. If kids can be entertained while learning at the same time I I've done my job!
