I've been babysitting siblings, cousins, and the children of friends of the family for years. I love entertaining small children. They're much easier and more fun to play with than teens or adults. I try to make things as fun as possible so the kid likes me and is more likely to want me around and to listen to me. I do know how to care for unruly children, however. Once I figure out what the parents' guidelines are, I make sure to enforce them. I use regular methods like putting them in time-out, but I have a way of using a stern voice that seems to get them to not complain as much....
I love children and I can't think of any that I babysat that didn't like me back. In fact, I know a few that actually ask for me themselves. It's cute and I love it. I just love interacting with them. I'm not sure what else to say.
