I am a 23-year-old theater major at Columbia College, I already have an AA with a double major in Performance and Technology with a focus in Stage Management from a college in Ohio.

I grew up highly involved in Girl Scouting and was a Program Assistant in the older years so that I could help work with younger girls at camp outings and day camps.

At the age of 13, I sat for 3 children (ages 4, 6 and 8) 8 a.m. -5 p.m. five days a week for an entire summer. Since I have done mostly casual babysitting jobs for friends and relatives.

I worked in a six week program as a college-age mentor paired with two high school students on a project based on "The Color Purple" which lead to a year long internship at Victoria Theater Association in Dayton, Ohio in the Education/Outreach department. I worked a lot with creating classroom study guides to go along with the shows that students would come to see. I also got to work with kids hands on, such as helping them on theater days, helping teach children with disabilities how to do magic tricks as therapy, and many other programs with the department. Also, working for the VTA, I got to plan and help run the Broadway summer camps, as well as "Changed for Good," a play writing festival for high school students for which I also Stage Managed the performances of the winning pieces.

I have also Stage Managed for Encore Theater Company in Dayton, and was made a Company Member in '11. I returned to Dayton last summer to be the Festival Coordinator and Stage Manager for their 2011 Festival of New Musicals.

In 09 I babysat my best friend's first addition 2 days a week, from when she was 3 months until I moved to Chicago a little over a year later.

In Chicago, I'm finishing up school and working evenings as a server. I stage managed a production last spring and am continuing to find theater to be a part of. I have always loved children and look forward to caring for yours!
