I am a senior Nutrition major at Samford University. I am from Germantown, Tennessee and I started babysitting when I was just 12 years old! For four years I have also been a regular babysitter for several families in Birmingham, Alabama. I have the great experience of two summers as a counselor for 8-year-old girls at a Christian athletic camp, Kanakuk Kamps, and one summer as a part-time nanny for 3 girls, ages 12, 9, and 6. I regularly babysit and am comfortable with children of all ages, from newborns-15 years old. I am used to a lot of activity from my camp counselor experience, and I love it! Most of my babysitting/nannying experiences have included preparing meals, driving to practices or appointments, helping with homework, taking kids to science museums/the pool/the park. Food and cooking are some of my passions and I am more than happy to cook for the children and/or the family. I love to be creative and spend time doing crafts with the kids, play outdoors, practice sports, and read with the kids. Many of the parent's I babysit for have praised me for being so involved and actually spending time doing what the children enjoy doing while I am with them.

I love getting to know new families and being a small part of their lives! I am looking for a full-time nannying opportunity for summer 2012! I would love to help you with childcare!
