I began working with children as a mother's helper at 11 years old. I am now 21 years old, and I have been babysitting ever since, with consistent after-school, weekend, and summer jobs. I just finished my junior year at college, majoring in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education. I have spent time observing and working in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first, and second grade classrooms. I have also spent time observing and working in a Montessori preschool. I have cared for children of all ages, from newborn to preteen. As a babysitter, I enjoy planning fun and age-appropriate activities to do with the children in my care. With older children, scavenger hunts, baking, and arts and crafts projects have been most enjoyable. With younger children, clay projects, drawing, painting, and outdoor play have been favored. After getting to know your children, I will prepare fun and engaging activities that they will enjoy most. I am great with kids and provide responsible and reliable care. I have obtained my clearances for teaching and have them available to you upon request.
