Hi, my name is Allison and I am graduating from Crystal Lake Central High School. I will be attending the University of Iowa in the fall to major in English and Creative Writing. My interests include reading, writing, and playing tennis. I have been playing tennis since I was 7. Two summers ago, I took college classes at Stanford University where I met people from all over the world and even lived with a girl from Turkey. I currently have a German exchange student living with my family for the school year. I am a member of my school's National Honors Society because I achieve good grades and am an active volunteer in my community. One example is that I have volunteered at my churches Vacation Bible school for two years and have worked with kids from ages 3 to 11. My past babysitting experience includes when I was in middle school and my freshman year of high school working for family friends and neighbors. The kids I babysat for were ages 3 to 10. I have worked for my neighborhood's colony club as an attendant for two years. I hope to work for a family this summer. Thanks!
