I have been babysitting for about six years and nannying for about three years. I grew up babysitting my younger siblings and many younger cousins so I have always loved children and I'm very comfortable working with children of any age. I also worked at a daycare for a year while I was in high school and I ran a summer camp for four weeks every summer for children in my neighborhood. I volunteered at Beaumont Hospital in the Pediatrics unit for about three years as well. I love working with children and I think that it's an incredibly rewarding job. I've held jobs that weren't in childcare but I've found that I prefer babysitting or nannying to anything else.

My most recent nanny job is for a family with 2 sons, ages 6 months old and 2 years old. When I started this position, the younger son was 11 days old and I have often stayed with them overnight and for multiple days at a time, so I've had a lot of experience caring for infants and toddlers. I currently still babysit for this family a few days a week, but they're moving to Florida in May which is why I'm seeking a new position.

Prior to this job, I was a nanny for 3 boys, ages 6, 8, and 10. My main responsibilities were to pick them up from school, help them with homework, prepare dinner, and get them ready for bed.

I started my first nannying job when I graduated from high school and continued with this job for about two years. When I started this position the children were 1, 3, 5, and 7, but I was mainly responsible for watching the two youngest.

I'm very responsible and dependable, and I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Although I'm a full-time student, my schedule is very flexible and I'm able to work full-time all year round. I would love to find a long-term position that could last for a few years.
