I am a stay at home mom and care for my 9-month-old son. I was in the Army, but got out when my husband and I became pregnant with my son and to live near my husband. I was raised being the second oldest of 6 children and always cared for my younger siblings. I also have watched family and friends' children when I was in high school and throughout my life when I had time between work and weekends. I love to cook, do crafts, and love to bake homemade snacks and treats. I enjoy spending time outdoors, swimming, learning new things and reading. I am currently taking three online courses and working toward my Bachelors degree in Business. I am very flexible and can watch children day or night, and keep them overnight if needed. We attend church Sunday morning, so I am unavailable Sunday mornings unless your child is able to attend church with us. My husband is a student in his last year at UAB in the electrical engineering program and he is also excellent with children. We love to play games, go to the park, take our dog for walks and watch Disney movies! In most cases I prefer to care for children at my home because I also have a child, but if not I need to be able to bring him with me if my husband cannot watch him. We are a Christian household and do not use any bad language or smoke. I hope to become friends with the parents of the children I care for and am excited to meet your family.
