I've always loved caring for children. They all have such fresh, exciting personalities that are eager to learn, which I really enjoy being a part of. I started babysitting when I was 14 and babysat whenever it was possible throughout high school and college.
I cared for a wonderful family for 2 1/2 years when I moved back down to West Chester PA (Feb 2010-June 2012). I cared for 2 children. A little boy from when he was 1 1/2 who is now 4, and a little girl from when she was 5, who is now 7.
It was a great experience and I would have stayed with the family, but I chose to move back home to NJ where my family is.
I attended West Chester University and graduated with a minor in health science and nutrition in spring 2007. Shortly after graduation, I worked for a child oriented fitness gym, in Randolph NJ. This job gave me experience working with children ranging from the age of 9 months to 5 years old. There, I worked with children, developing their motor skills through basic gymnastic movement, dance, and basic sport skills. While working closely with the children and parents in my classes I developed some long lasting relationships, and also babysat for many of my students.
