I have worked in three different church nurseries in the past caring for children ages birth-2 years old for 3 years. I have also worked at a children's hospital for 2 years caring for children ages birth-18 years. The hospital experience allowed me to gain a lot of experience with newborns because I was a sitter and I would frequently sit in the infant's room from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. changing diapers, bathing and feeding. In addition to the above experiences I also worked for 4 years within the public school system with special education students who were 3-9 years old. These students had learning disabilities and were autistic.
