This past summer I was a YMCA Outdoor Day Camp Counselor at Cottage Lake Park in Woodinville, WA. I had groups of children, ages 5-7, every week and was responsible for running games, supervision on field trips, during swim days, various other activities during aftercare, as well as training for emergency situations. I have also been a Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp Colman, an overnight camp and worked with children ages 5-12. As well as my camp experience, I was a reading coach for Team Read in Seattle. I tutored students ages 7-8 with reading, analyzing, and comprehension. I have cared for children ages 6 months-12 years. My most recent family had two daughters who I cared for for about 3 years, who are now 3 and 10 years old. They recently moved to Oregon for work and this is why I am looking for another great family to work for!
