I've been babysitting every since I was 12 years of age, taking care of neighborhood kids as well as cousins and other family friends. Around the age of 13 our church brought over members as well as my family and I to Tikal, Guatemala to an orphanage where we helped paint and repair buildings. We also brought learning materials over to the school that was connected to the orphanage where we helped teach children from ages 5+. I was definitely an early riser and matured at an early age and received my first job at age 14 at the local fitness club working in the daycare center watching up to 10 kids at a time. The ages ranged from newborn-14 years. I am a very active girl and love sports! I have played soccer my entire life, which led me to coach several U6 and U7 co-ed soccer teams where I have had an awesome experience meeting a large range of kids and their families. I got a lot out of my coaching experience, dealing with all types of personalities as well as the stages and development children go through, which I think is why I can get along with children so well.
