Hello, my name is Alicia. I love working with children. I am a very happy and positive person. I worked at a day care in Ohio for two years before I moved out to North Carolina. I was a lead teacher and my class consisted of the ages of a year and a half to 3 years old. I also worked in the nursery and the older classes, which consisted of the ages of three to six. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. I also watched some of the children outside of the day care on the weekends. I have been certified in CPR and First Aid. While I worked at the day care, I had to make my own lesson plans, do snacks and lunch, teach them how to potty train, and work with the children on colors, numbers, shapes and letters. When I moved to North Carolina I got hired as a nanny. I worked 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. I worked with a 3, 5, and 6-year-old. I was in charge of getting the children up and ready for school, made breakfast, lunch, and dinner, drop off and pick up from school, helped with homework, and made up crafts for them to do. I also did light house cleaning and pet care.
