I am currently looking for an awesome, loving family to help out as a part-time evening and weekend nanny. I am the eldest sibling in my family and I am also the eldest of 18 cousins. Naturally, I've grown up helping out & taking care of my siblings and younger cousins. From braiding my uncle's daughter's hair to filling in on the occasional school trip, you name it and I've probably done it. I have experience with children from newborn babies to 12 years old.

Professionally, I was employed at an after school and summer camp program in Stamford, CT. I started off as a volunteer for one year and have worked there for four years. I cared for children in grades K-3, occasionally being tossed in to help out with the 4th - 8th graders. Some of my duties were helping with homework, doing arts and crafts, story time, outside activities; preparing/serving and helping students clean up after snack and assisting the children while they use the computers. Previously, I nannied part-time for two years for a local family with a awesome little boy, before they sent him to daycare. I cared for another baby boy from 6 months old for two years, overnight on the weekends until his family moved back to the city. So, I have experience in diaper changing, nap times, stimulation play and food preparation for toddlers. I have experience with children that have food allergies. I am also trained in Epi-Pen usage. I also helped out a woman with a wonderful 4-year-old little girl by driving her daughter to camp and playing with her for the five to 10 minutes that we had before camp started. My driver's license is clean and I can drive my own car to and from work.

To sum it up, I love children and I honestly enjoy working with them. From tea time to scooters, trips to the park or our local aquarium, as long as they are exploring and having fun with smiles on their faces, I am happy as well. I enjoy helping children with interactions; whether it be a simple play-date or attending classes such as music, dance or art. I am a big help around the house as I have no problem giving an extra hand with some light housekeeping such as the children's laundry and making sure the house looks neat at the end of the day. I am also open to working for extra hours as needed to help out. My time is very flexible. I will do my best to create a happy and healthy environment for the child(ren) that I take care of and gain the parent's trust, love and confidence as I take care and look after their little ones.
