I have been working with children of all ages my entire life. As a child, my mother ran an in-home daycare center with at least 6-10 children on any given day. I was always helping her out with any task that needed to be done and I was always keeping the children entertained by playing with them. I started to babysit independently at the age of 12, for two family friends. At that young of an age, I was trusted as a responsible caregiver of a 3-year-old boy and another 2-year-old boy. I have only continued to mature in my care giving responsibilities and the joy I reap from working with children. I have done random babysitting jobs all throughout high school and have enjoyed taking care of my cousin who is now 5 years old. Currently, I am employed part-time for a babysitting company. I love my job with them and appreciate all the wonderful families I have the opportunity to work with! With that said, I plan on continuing my work with them, but I need to pick up some more hours that I'm not always guaranteed with the company. I am a current student at the University of Colorado Denver obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and I plan on continuing my education to obtain a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. My goal is to work independently with children who have slight to severe disabilities, training them to become the best they can be. In the meantime, I strive to gain experience and lasting bonds with children around the Denver Metro area. I am fully certified in CPR and First Aid. I'm a current Certified Professional Sitter. I guarantee a squeaky clean background check, and most importantly I truly love working with children!
