I began my childcare experience when I was 12-years-old babysitting for local families in my area. As I got older, I took on more consistent nanny positions, working with 2 - 3 families, watching kids 1 - 2 days a week. During the summers between semesters at college, I expanded my services to provide housekeeping/mother's helper duties as well as childcare. I have had up to 6 clients at a time and have loved working with families and homes.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Family Science with an emphasis in Home and Family Living. Some of my classes included: Family processes, child development, child guidance, cooking, sewing, family finance, and home and family living.
I have always loved working with children and families. Over the years it has been an enriching experience for me to implement my education in my work. I have found nothing more rewarding than strengthening families, nurturing children, and maintaining happy homes.
