Hello:

I am a college graduate who is taking time for off from the mental health/social service field where I have worked for over 15 years.

I recently worked for a wonderful family and their little boy, who is now over 4 months old. I started with this family when their little boy was only a couple of weeks old and now his dad has chosen to stay home full time. I also did light house work and watched and played with their dogs daily as well as did dog sitting when needed.

My journey as a nanny began a couple decades ago. I was a nanny for several different families including a family with 3 children ranging from newborn to 5, another family with two newborns (twins)and the last family I worked with I was caring for a newborn with a little brother on the way.

Since moving into the social service field, I have gained experience working with youth of all ages from newborn to teens, in multiple settings and multiple ages. Chaos or calm are things which are not foreign to me. Neither are multiple children in a household at different ages and with different needs. I am also adept at working with children of all ages with special needs from ADHD to high functioning autism, to Down Syndrome, to mental health diagnoses, etc.

I am seeking a non-live in position, working with children as a sitter or nanny. I am seeking part-time, full-time, or occasional work. (Please note the availability box only allows us to check full-time or part-time and I am careful about applications submitted.)

I am not a great cook (thus the reason the cooking box is not checked), but meal prep, lunches and simple things like spaghetti, pizza and tacos are right up my alley.

I have worked in the emergency medical field for several years, thus am trained in CPR and First Aid and other medical care. I have DPS Fingerprint Clearance, a clean driving record and a clean background check.

I am an avid reader, a lover of animals and children. I love the outdoors and adventures. I enjoy spending time with my dogs and birds. I treasure spending time with my nephews and sisters. I have a very close knit family despite the fact that we are spread out from the west coast to the east coast. I am the oldest child of 5 girls on my dad's side. Being a part of a blended family has taught me a great deal and has brought so many wonderful things to my life. I am truly lucky to be a large part of my sister and her boy's lives.
