I've been very blessed to have been raised in a church where so many families were. I worked at my church in vacation bible school, puppetry, drama team, and youth leader all with kids. I've also watched kids for several years for a family basically until their kids were old enough to watch themselves.
I'm going to school to become an occupational therapist and should be done in the next 3 years. In schooling for this Occupational Therapy job, I have taken several health sciences classes and I was certified for CPR. I want to find a great family who needs help a couple days of the week or weekend. I currently sit for a wonderful family and work at a restaurant but would like to nanny full time and get rid of the restaurant job.
I'm extremely amiable and I've yet to meet a kid I can't make laugh. I love playing around with kids and I'm not the type to sit and monitor and would much rather play outside read with kids or make crafts. I'm also a runner and very active so if you want someone to keep your child fit or get them fit, I can help.
Basically, I'm a people person and get along with everyone, I want to be able to work a job where I feel like I am truly helping people and not just serving food. I feel that being a nanny will give me more experience toward my degree and is more relevant.
