I have always had a love for children. I have a brother, who is 4 years younger than me and I have cared for him since I was very young. Both my parents had full-time jobs, so I have always felt responsible for taking care of my brother when they were unable. Starting around age 12, I started babysitting for many people in my old neighborhood. I watched children as young as 9 months up to preteens for many years until I turned 16 and got a part-time job at a restaurant. I worked about 30 hours a week there so I didn't get to babysit as often. My older sister had her first child, a beautiful little girl, when I was 14. Two years later my nephews were born and ever since they were babies I have always been the go-to member of my family to babysit. I'm blessed with the best niece and nephews I could ever ask for. I love to watch cartoons, go to the park, pick them up from school, take them to soccer, and help them with any school work they have. Taking care of children comes naturally for me and I love nurturing younger generations.
