Hi, I am Alexis and I am 22 years old. I've been working with children in some capacity since I was 14 years old, as a Junior Camp Counselor.

I had the privilege of working with children at a daycare center in Naperville, IL for 2.5 years as an Assistant Teacher. The children ranged in age from newborn to 7 years old. Children are my passion, helping them learn new things and interacting with them brings me great joy. I enjoy going to work every day.

I decided to expand my skills, taking night classes to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. I received my Certification in March of 2011. I was offered a job as a hospice caretaker for a a friend's grandmother and accepted it. It was a very challenging and positive experience but I find my true calling is working with and teaching children.

I will be furthering my education in Child Development/Teaching this summer.
