Hi there! My name is Alexandria. I have 2 years of experience being a part-time babysitter/nanny in Chicago and 2 years of experience being a teaching artist for ages 3-15 years old at STAGES Performing Arts Academy in St. Louis, MO.

I also worked as the Education Assistant at STAGES Performing Arts Academy in St. Louis, MO. I ran a free interactive storytelling program for 2-5-year-olds for the St. Louis community along with teaching creative drama, singing, and dancing to children ages 3-12 years old.

I enjoy being active and creative with the children I work with. It's fun using their creativity and interest to spark an "adventure" or "game" that they find fun while also finding education throughout the activity.

I've had years of experience creating lesson plans, activities, and programs for many age ranges. This experience has allowed me to tailor the activities I do with the children I watch and to make our time together enjoyable, fun, and unique.

The children's safety and well-being is always my first priority. Throughout my time as the Education Assistant/Teaching Artist for STAGES, there were experiences of problem solving and troubleshooting making sure the children's safety was the first priority.

With any problem experienced, I consistently remained calm and helped make sure the children felt safe with me and could trust they were in good hands while together.

Along with the children's safety, having fun with the family and establishing a trusting relationship are my main priorities. I always want the family to trust me and know that their children will be in safe hands while they're gone.

Families' schedules are ever-changing and changes arise frequently. Knowing this, I make myself as available as possible within the time frames of my availability to make sure I can accommodate any changes with your schedule. I am very flexible with families' needs and schedules.
