I will be a full time student at Houston Baptist University, coming this fall. I have babysat here and therefore quite a few people. I have babysat at my church and for people from my church. I babysat during a small group through my church. The kids were 6 months, 1 year, 1.5 years and 4 years. I also babysat for a family friend while she worked. I would babysit her kids all day. The ages were 2 years, 5 years and 14 years. I also help teach the children on Sundays at church. I am a Girl Scout and have been a Program Aide for the past 6 years. I have helped at a camp for girls ages 10 to 13, mainly. I was a leader. I did that 4 weekends a year for the past 6 years. I also do a lot of volunteer work through my church. We go hand out food to people, pray for people, talk to people and just do any kind of work that may be available. We have also fixed up houses and done yard work. I love being around kids and plan on working with them when I get older. The age groups I prefer are infants and elementary age kids. I am perfectly fine working with all ages though. I have no children of my own, but I have a niece and nephew which are 2 and 4. I have one dog and have no problem with animals.
