I have been a camp counselor at my local YMCA for 2 years working with children from ages 3 to 6 years old, where I have worked with kids of all backgrounds and special needs. At camp I teach multiple sports to young children such as gymnastics, soccer, baseball, and basketball, along with swim lessons. I have taught dance class to children ages 2 to 4 years old and I have also babysat for two young girls ages 2 and 4 years old, for a year. I am also majoring in elementary education at Penn State University. I love working with children because they really allow you to be creative and use your imagination. When working with children I love to do arts and crafts, sing songs, read books, play outdoors as much as possible, and have fun.
