I began babysitting with my mother's assistance when I was 10 years old and then started babysitting on my own and working in my church's nursery at age 12-13. After babysitting all through high school, my summer job the past two summers was as a camp counselor for both sleep away camp and day camp which gave me the opportunity to really take care of children on a different level than just when mom and dad went out on a date. The job was amazing and life changing and one of the best jobs I could have ever asked for.
