I worked for 4 years as a Senior Counselor at the YMCA Camp Tepee, as well as the YMCA After School Program in Trumbull and Monroe, Connecticut. In these roles, I supervised and mentored groups of 20 children between the ages of 5-13. At camp, I was responsible for accompanying the children to and from daily activities, planning and coordinating events throughout the day, and ensuring that all children were fed during snack and lunch time.

I assisted with the after camp program during the summer, and the after school program during the school year. I aided children with homework assignments, as well as school projects. I was awarded the "Dynamic Duo" Award for Best Co-Counselors during summer 2010.

I am also an older brother with years of experience caring for and being a friend to my younger sister.
