I have been babysitting for family and friends since the age of 11. I have babysat/helped out with my younger brother and all of my younger cousins. I only have two younger brothers, but over 12 younger cousins. For the past three summers I have babysat/helped out my aunt and uncle with their 3 young children. For a week I would stay with them all morning and part of the afternoon. I would give them breakfast and lunch. I would play with them with their toys, draw with them, or go on a walk.

For 2 years I have been volunteering at my church. I help out in the child care program. We watch the 1-year-olds while their parents are in service. I love playing with the kids. We read and sing to them. Now that I'm 19 I can get my own class. I am the leader so I am responsible for everything. From checking them in, to changing their diaper.

Once in a while I babysit a family friend's daughter. I started babysitting her when she was 2 months and she is now 9 months. I would watch her for most of the day. I would feed her breakfast and lunch. I change her and sometimes give her baths. I would play with her or go on walks. I have taught her how to wave hello and bye.

A few months age I started watching two young kids every Saturday. I would be with them most of the day. I would give them lunch. Play with them or do crafts with them. Give them their bath and put them down for their nap.
