I have 10 years of paid experience as a caregiver ranging from babysitting, live-out nanny, cheer leading coach, volunteering at Sunday school, to a daycare setting. I have cared for children ages 6 weeks to 8 years old. I have 3 years experience working with teens ages 13-to 17-years-old. I have also babysat for my neighbors' children and other families for after-school hours, on scheduled occasions and short term notice.
*****My discipline style is firm, yet gentle. I definitely see myself as authoritative (providing rules and guidance without being overbearing). I focus on respect, manners, and positive reinforcement for great behavior. I love being an educator, friend, playmate, and mentor to young people of all ages. I like to have a daily schedule planned out with the families so that I can keep the child's schedule consistent. My first priority will always be your child's well being. I pay close attention to detail and love to encourage children into reaching milestones.

Hourly rate is negotiable for the right family.
Typically I charge $12/hour which includes basic tidying up and providing meals for one child. I am happy to help with chores such as laundry and/or running errands as long as it doesn't interfere with caring for the child(ren) but I do charge $1-$2 per hour in addition to my base pay.
