Hi, my name is Aisha and I am 21 years old. I am a current student at Georgia Perimeter College (I attend school completely online!) with a major in Early Childhood Education. I have extensive child care experience, and currently work in a child-development center as a teacher's assistant. I live in Lithonia, where I just purchased my first home. I absolutely love children and have a 5-year-old brother whom I helped raise since he was a baby. I am great with kids of all ages and genuinely love what I do. I am all for having a partnership with the parents when it comes to a child's education and discipline. It is extremely important for both parties to be fully involved at all times. I have a passion for children, and I feel like anything that I do revolves around them. I feel like I have a lot of love to give a child, and I also enjoy engaging them in many different, fun activities. Being a nanny or babysitter would give me a different opportunity than working in the classrooms would; it would allow me to spend quality one on one time with a child or just a few children. Because of this, I would be able to connect with them on higher levels and hopefully help to reinforce everything that they are learning at home and at school as well.
