of Experience
I am a Sophomore at Sonoma State University, aspiring to become a kindergarten teacher. I am currently majoring in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child Development, and minoring in Theater Arts with an emphasis in Dance. I have nannied for several different families from the time I was 13 until the present. I have experience with infants, toddlers, young children, and older kids. In the past, I have baby-sat for a few San Jose Sharks families as well as neighborhood kids and family members. I've worked with hundreds of fourth and fifth grade boys and girls as a choreographer for Blossom Hills Elementary School and Daves Avenue Elementary School for two consecutive years. I have also worked with Children's Musical Theater of San Jose as a Summer Camp counselor for first graders. In my first year of college, I taught two beginning dance classes, one for 4 and 5-year-olds and another for 6 to 9-year-olds. I thoroughly enjoy playing games, arts and crafts, walking to parks and just playing with kids in general. I'm into sports and playing outside for the adventurous type, but am more than willing to spend time inside playing games for the more relaxed type.
