I babysat my little sister since I was 13 or so (she is 4 years younger than I am) and I did some babysitting for a 3-year-old little boy a few years ago. This past year, I worked at an after school program for disadvantaged elementary school children twice a week for a few hours each visit. I helped with homework, played games, did art projects, and occasionally disciplined. I'm best with art projects, I know quite a few fun, safe, clean, kid-friendly ones that will definitely entertain for hours. I have my own car and I'm a very safe driver (a real stickler for seat-belts and the speed limit) so I'd be happy to pick-up and drop off anywhere you'd need me to.

For those interested in teaching their child(ren) a second language, I have been studying Chinese for about 4 1/2 years and I'd be happy to teach them some basic vocabulary/grammar.
