I am double majoring in middle-level English and Bible. I love children and have been watching and caring for them since I was 13-years-old. I taught Sunday school to 3rd-5th grade girls and am now leader at my church youth group for high school. I have a very patient temperament, and do not get frustrated easily. Running around and playing with children is part of what I love to do. Although I am calm and organized, I can be high-energy for the little ones. I have experience working with every age range, from newborns to teenagers.
One of the most unique jobs that I have had was being a nanny in the summer of 2010 for a family of three boys, ages 3, 6 and 9. The oldest boy has Asperger's Syndrome. Their mother had cancer and I lived with them and cared for the boys and mother 24/7. It was an amazing experience which taught me many valuable lessons. At this job, I also cooked, cleaned, and drove the boys wherever they needed to be.
I am extremely mature for my age and am reliable and dependable to take on much responsibility. I promise to love and care for your children to the best of my ability. Their safety and happiness is my #1 priority.
