My previous experience is as an elementary school counselor. As a school counselor, I utilized games, stories, and art projects to develop social skills and character traits. I provided classroom lessons on a range of topics including teamwork and respect. I also provided small group counseling and individual counseling. My master's degree in school counseling included education in children's development. I was employed as a school counselor for 2 years until I moved to Atlanta due to my husband's relocation. While in Atlanta, I look forward to continuing to use my skills of working with children. By being a good listener and encouraging their strengths, I build positive relationships with the children with whom I work.
