I am a 25-year-old female living in Birmingham, Alabama. I am a graduate of the University of Alabama, where I double majored in Psychology and Marketing. I am currently working full-time as a recruiter for a local college, and I plan to one day pursue a graduate level degree in Psychology/Social Work. I have decided that I would like to nanny full-time for at least the next year (August 2012-August 2013) while I figure out my next steps in life. I held many babysitting jobs throughout high school, worked extensively with special needs children in college, and have a very energetic, generous, and understanding spirit that is well appreciated by children of all ages. Additionally, I have reliable transportation and would be happy to take and pick up kids from various extracurricular activities. Also, I'm completely adept to tutor/help kids with schoolwork/projects/tests/etc.

I am looking for a family that is warm, fun-loving, and welcoming. I value open-communication and structure, and believe I would be best suited with a family with similar ideals. I enjoy interacting with children and am hopeful to find a family that is looking for someone to engage and stimulate their children through educational and learning experiences. I adapt well to change and work well under pressure.
