I have been a nanny for over 9 years and did many years of babysitting prior to that. I have worked with children ages 2 weeks to 9 years. Responsibilities included driving children to activities, preparing food, keeping play area clean, and providing a warm and loving environment for the best developmental experience possible. I am the mother of a 2-year-old and an 8-month-old, both girls. During my last position, I brought my oldest daughter with me from the time she was 3 weeks old until the position ended when she was 20 months. The youngest child of that family was starting kindergarten and they no longer required a nanny. The timing was perfect because my second daughter was soon to be born. As a result of being around many other children her entire life, my oldest daughter is very social. She loves to be around other children and is always kind. I would love to find a child (or two) to watch that could be her friend(s). I keep our house clean with all natural cleaners, we eat mostly organic, and I try to make a lot of food from scratch. I take joy in many domestic activities, such as keeping a clean house, cooking, baking, sewing, and most important: playing with my girls. I love being a mother, and I would love to give your child a caring environment during the day when you are away.
