I am currently a senior Nursing major. I have been babysitting for families and relatives for seven years now, and before I began babysitting I took a babysitting course to become a certified sitter. Last year I spent one clinical rotation in the pediatric unit, and I enjoyed it so much and acquired so much knowledge from it that I am considering entering the specialty. I love children and enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading, helping with homework, singing, and playing outside, all of which I attribute to having been raised by a second grade (and later fifth grade) teacher (my mom). I am a very reliable and hard-working individual, and as a future nurse, I always put safety (along with fun) first (I am certified in CPR). I am trustworthy and energetic, and am also willing to pack lunches, pick children up from school, provide transportation to extracurricular activities, or even just play boardgames, read, and have a movie night while mom and dad go out and have fun.
