As a preschool teacher, I interact with children ages 2-5 on a daily basis. I love what I do, and wouldn't trade it for anything. I foster healthy relationships with children, teach, and provide a safe and loving environment for children in the absence of their parents. I like to have my parents feel at ease when they leave their child or children with me, because I would want to feel the same way as a parent myself. I started working as a mother's helper when I was 10 years old, and when I turned 13 years old, I began watching children alone, while their parents were out. I am CPR and First Aide certified. I have worked in preschool, daycare and public schools for many years. I am passionate about what I do because I know that I have an everlasting impression on children, and that being so committed to the children reflects on them as they grow. I have always been a "child magnet", and parents and children have always felt comfortable with me. I have pursued other career paths, but the road always leads me back to working with children. It is my god-given talent, strength and ability, and love for what I do, that makes me great at what I do.
