Hello! My name is Deanna. I am a student at Regent University in Virginia Beach. I have my own transportation and I am very reliable. I am currently employed full-time and I am not available for any other weekly hours, however I am willing to do weeknight or weekend sitting for any ages. All availability is based on my homework load and general schedule. I cannot guarantee that I will be available, but I encourage you to inquire nevertheless. It often works out that if I am needed at night I can simply bring my homework with me and work on it after the child(ren) in my care are in bed (access to the internet is helpful, as all of my assignments are submitted via the web). I have always loved children, and for as long as I can remember, have been a "mini mommy." I have been caring for children for about 10 years and have three years experience in an after-school program for elementary students. I know how to perform CPR and some First Aid, but my certification card has expired. I'm a patient and firm care giver. I tend to be relaxed in most situations, and screaming babies do not scare me. I am able to recognize disagreements among siblings and address them promptly and efficiently. I love to read to children and get down on the floor and actually play with them. Walks when the weather is nice are a definite, as the outdoors is a superb environment for growing little ones. In general, I adore children. I am not afraid to get down and dirty with them, but I also won't allow them to get away with anything harmful. I know that you and your little one(s) would benefit greatly from my care.
