I love children. I started off being a mother's helper at the age of 13 to baby-sitting at 15 for a number of families. When I was 17 or 18, I started working at a day care in New Jersey in the infant room. I opened the center and cared for children. I moved to Florida with my family and, of course, missed my job. I had to get back to it so I started at a job which I held for three years. I became a head infant room teacher caring for four infants in a lovely nursery. I recently got married and moved here to Virginia. Children bring so much joy to me. I love watching them grow and progress! There is never a dull moment with children. I have been to many classes in Florida to improve my teaching skills and also now here in Virginia. I am First Aid and CPR certified!
