As a CIT I was placed one-on-one with a special needs child that was attending the camp, and when I worked as a counselor I was in charge of a group of 8 to 10 kids every day. I also worked as a certified life guard with the camp every afternoon. I have been certified in First Aid and CPR as well, however these certifications have expired. I frequently baby-it a 3-month-old infant and 9-year-old within the same family. I love children, and I am very patient with them. When I resume college in January I will be working for certification in early childhood education.
