**I am no longer looking for work in the NY area**

I've been an actual full-time nanny since I graduated high school almost four years ago.

Before that, I was constantly baby-sitting. I'm from a family containing five children. I have numerous cousins, so an extra set of hands was almost always needed. I'm an up-beat, creative girl with a fantastic sense of humor. At the same time, I'm punctual, firm when needed, and loving.

When it comes to caring for children, I believe in a good schedule that I follow to the letter every day. Children need boundaries and sameness. I'm just good with kids. I get them and they get me and it's as simple as that.

I love that I can have a job where I get paid to play pretty, pretty princess, hide and seek or to finger paint. Being around children gives me an excuse to relive my childhood every day. What person could turn that down?

I like to spend a good amount of time teaching the children whom I nanny for. I have more experience with smaller children. One child was accepted into a school at 18 months old where normally 3-year-olds are admitted, and the child whom I care for now knows all of her basic shapes and some unusual ones such as pentagon, octagon and star. She can count to 10, her vocabulary is fantastic and she'll sing her ABC's. She knows all of her colors and has known them since she was about 14 months old. She isn't even 2 yet. I do my best to make sure the children whom I care for are bright, polite, sweet, little kids.

One of my favorite past times is video editing, so for special occasions, I put together videos of the kids whom I nanny for.
