Children have always been in my life! At the age of 10, I became an aunt! I have even baby-sat twins and triplets at one point! I officially got my start in the child care field in 1987, when I operated a family day care in Maryland from my home. I have taught prekindergarten in Escondido, CA. I substituted for elementary, middle, and high school for Cobb County, Georgia. While living in these three states, I have had the opportunity of working with children of all ages, infants/toddlers in day care, 2- to 4-year-olds in preschool, and elementary -age children in after-school and summer camp programs. I really think that being a mother and grandmother has given me more experiences than I ever learned from a book or being in any college classroom!

My most recent nanny job was working with a family from Bangladesh. Unfortunately, they moved back; however, I did learn a lot about their culture, customs, and language. I am also active and physically fit and love being outdoors with children.
