Hello! First and foremost, I am an extremely family-oriented individual. I am the oldest in my generation in my extended family. Because of this, I have a great deal of experience spending quality time with my young cousins, aged 2, 9, and 13, and with my brother and sister, aged 16 and 13. I have been involved in the Melon Patch Children's Theater in Leesburg, FL for seven years, and have directed for three years. Directing the theater gives me an opportunity to work with children of all ages. Through the Melon Patch Theater, I also have experience with autistic children and children with behavioral disorders. At my church, I worked in the nursery for a year with children ranging from newborn to 6 years of age and vacation Bible school for three years with children from 3 to 17. Two years ago, I took a position as a nanny for a family friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer. For six months, I attended her two children, ages 2 and 4, during her struggle with chemo treatments. I am a certified Hospice volunteer and Scuba Diver with PADI. By owning a Ford Explorer, which comfortably seats eight, I could easily provide transportation to any after-school activity or special event.
