Amy S. - Seattle Nanny

Profile of Amy S.

Full-Time, 6 Years of Experience

I love children very much, I know child care is not just about watching them/him/her but giving the love, care and undivided attention deserved. Learning is essential as well, numbers, letters, shapes, colors, addition, subtraction, Getting educational fun is always a good idea. I'm 22, I've been a baby sitter/nanny/housekeeper/partial caregiver for the past six years. I have three friends with kids that I've not only baby-sat but helped raise. I love kids and being a part of their lives helping them grow in a positive environment with the love, care and learning they need. I have experience with deaf children (with adults near by as I was in 8th grade and only had one year ASL now I have five) and I baby-sat a child with Down syndrome off and on for two years when I was 16 to 18 he was 8 to 10. I have also helped my boyfriend baby-sit and nanny for his twin nephews when they were 2 to 3 years old. That was an adventure. But I loved every minute. The summer of 2005 I baby-sat, did errands, travel, carpooling (picking up other friends and dropping them off) took her/them to the pool, and did light housekeeping as well as cooking for them. That was my parents old neighbor, and now my dads current girlfriend
